Abstract:
Každá z postav Shakespearova dramatu je zvána k tomu, aby vystavila sama sebe temné noci, v níž bude konfrontována s vlastními stíny, a tak se oprostí od svých předsudků a návyků. Taková operace vyžaduje osamělost a utrpení. Postavy setrvávají na prahu této zkoušky a opakovaně uhýbají před přijetím pozvání. Each of Shakespeare's characters is invited to encounter their own inner night, as in the nigredo, the first phase of the alchemical Magnum Opus. This operation could allow them to confront their own shadows, and eventually liberate them from their deadly routine and limiting preconceptions.
