Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to analyse and explain grammatical relationships in a popular genre for children which is a fairy tale. For this purpose, a fairy tale The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde has been chosen. The text analysis is focused mainly on anaphoric and cataphoric reference, cohesive chains and at low rate also on retrievability span.
