Model of a rabbit farm

Abstract:

Práce popisuje a zhodnocuje aktuální možnosti a překážky v odvětví chovu jatečných králíků. Vychází z dlouholetých vlastních zkušeností s chovem jatečných králíků a celkového zájmu o toto odvětví. Jsou zde uvedeny faktory podmiňující možnosti založení chovu jatečných králíků, všechny potřebné ustájovací kapacity, klecové technologie, krmiva, zdroje chovného materiálu, odbyt jatečných králíků, nastavení cen a běžné problémy, které se s provozem farmy pojí. Práce se snaží držet reálných cen výnosů a nákladů, aby pokud možno přehledně a objektivně zhodnotila reálnost či nereálnost vstupu do tohoto odvětví. V současné době není možné založit velký podnik s roční produkcí v řádech statisíců jatečných králíků. Proto je v práci zpracován model malého rodinného podniku, který dokážou obsloužit dva lidé. Práce se snaží dát odpověď na otázku, zdali by malá farma zvládla pokrýt investiční náklady, společně s běžnými náklady a ještě vytvořit zisk, který by uživil rodinu.

Abstract:

This thesis describes and explores the current possibilities and obstacles in the rabbit breeding sector. It is based on many years of experience in rabbit farming and overall interest in the sphere. There are named the factors determining the possibilities of setting up rabbits, all the necessary stabling capacity, cage technology, feed, breeding material resources, slaughtering rabbit sales, pricing and common problems associated with farm running. The thesis tries to keep real costs of revenues and costs in order to ascertain in a clear and objective way the reality or the unreality of entry into this branch. At present, it is not possible to set up a large enterprise with annual production in the order of hundreds of thousands of rabbits for slaughter. That is why the model of a small family business, which can be served by two people, is worked out. The work tries to answer the question whether a small farm would be able to cover the investment costs together with the normal costs and still generate a profit to the family.
