Analysis of flood protections in the Odra river between confluences with the Opava river and the Koblovský potok stream

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou protipovodňových opatření na Odře mezi soutoky s Opavou a Koblovským potokem. Teoretická část práce definuje historii úprav, současný stav úprav a stupeň jejich ochrany na vybraném úseku Odry. Další kapitola se zaměřuje na analýzu územního plánu a jeho grafickou část, která slouží k podrobnějšímu popisu protipovodňových opatření. V praktické části zpracovávám dotazníkové šetření vnímání ochrany obyvatelstva dané lokality a jeho vyhodnocení. Na jeho základě navrhuji zlepšení informovanosti obyvatel s využitím sociálních sítí.

Abstract:

This bachelor?s thesis deals with issue of flood control on the river Odra at the confluence of Opava and Koblov stream. The theoretical part of this thesis introduces the definition of history of the landscape adjustment, their present condition and the degree of their flood control on the selected part of the river Odra. The practical part is focused on analysis of the landscape plan and its graphical part, that is used for more detailed description of flood control. In the practical part are presented results of short survey focused on the perception of the protection of the population of the given locality.On the basis of the results of this research I suggest improving awareness of population by using social networks.
