Children´s Cranial Deformities and Possibilities of Orthotic Treatment

Abstract:

Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje anatomické aspekty lebky a základní typy deformit. Zabývá se vyšetřením pacienta s kraniální deformitou a možnostmi terapie kraniálních deformit. V praktické části bakalářské práce je návrh měrného listu pro ortotické vyšetření pacienta. V další části jsou uvedeny výsledky ze studie provedené u dětí, které byly rozděleny podle věku do dvou skupin. Studie byla zaměřena na určení incidence kraniálních deformit, stupně závažnosti a návrhu terapie.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains the cranial anatomical aspects and the basic types of deformities. It deals with the assessment in patients with a cranial deformity and the possibilities of the cranial deformity treatment. There is a proposal of an assessment form in an orthotic examination in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. Another part of the thesis is a study with the results of measurment performed on children. They were divided into two groups according to their age. The study was targerted to the determination of cranial deformity incidence, levels of severity and proposal of therapy.
