Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je zrození davového člověka. Vycházím z knihy významného španělského filosofa 20. století José Ortegy y Gasseta Vzpoura davů. Čerpám v ní zejména z první části, která se ke vzniku davového člověka a davu váže. V úvodu je nastíněna struktura bakalářské práce. Bude podán výklad davového člověka a davu z různých perspektiv různých autorů a jejich výskyt v jiné literatuře. První kapitola studuje zrození davového člověka, jaké má vlastnosti, jak a za jakých podmínek vznikl. Druhá kapitola nahlíží na dav z psychologického hlediska. Materiálem pro tuto studii mi bylo dílo Gustava Le Bona Psychologie davu. Třetí kapitola ukazuje dav z dalšího úhlu. Popisuje davového člověka jako neurčité ?ono se?. Tato část vychází z knihy Martina Heideggera Bytí a čas. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje podobnosti děl José Ortegy y Gasseta a Karla Čapka. Provedu rozbor dramatu Bílá nemoc, charakteristiky davu a jejich vůdců. Zanalyzuji také recenzi, ve které se Karel Čapek vyjádřil ke Vzpouře davů. Závěrem je podáno vysvětlení spojitostí mezi Karlem Čapkem a José Ortegou y Gassetem. Je zde naznačena aktuálnost tématu davu v moderním světě, který je z velké části konzumní a ovlivněn masovými médii, což vznik současných davů podporuje.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the birth of a mass person. It is based on a book ?The Revolt of The Masses? (Vzpoura davů) written by an important Spanish philosopher of the 20th century, José Ortega y Gasset. In the present work I used especially the analysis from the first part of the book, which focuses on the creation of the crowd and the mass person. The structure of my bachelor thesis is outlined in the introduction. I am going to give an interpretation of the mass person and the crowd from different views given by various authors and I will study this phenomenon also in the works of Karel Čapek. The first chapter studies the birth of the mass person itself, its characteristics, its birth and circumstances of this birth. The second chapter looks at the crowd from psychological aspect. For this purpose I studied Gustave Le Bon 's work ?The Origin of Crowd Psychology? as a source for my study. The third chapter describes the mass person as unauthentic. It describes the mass person as uncertain ?ono se?. This part is based on Martin Heidegger 's monography ?Being and Time? (Bytí a čas). The fourth chapter deals with the dialogue of the works of José Ortega y Gasset and Karel Čapek. I am going to make an analysis of drama ?The White Disease? (Bílá nemoc), with particular attention to crowd characteristics and characteristics of the leaders. I am also going to analyse a review, in which Karel Čapek commented on ?The Revolt of The Masses?. An explanation of the connections between Karel Čapek and José Ortega y Gasset is given in the end. The author of this bachelor paper tried to pursue the Ortega's reflexions in the context of the contemporary world, which is mainly consumerist and influenced by the mass media.
