The gender of nouns (with special attention to the feminine gender)
Abstract:
This thesis has two parts. The goal of first part is to compare how the most important nouns deal with gender in Spanish grammar. The second part examines the differences between feminine profession names in European and American Spanish.
Abstract:
Tato práce má dvě hlavní části. Cílem první části je porovnat, jakým způsobem pojednávají o rodu podstatných jmen nejvýznamnější španělské gramatiky. Druhá část práce zkoumá rozdíly ve způsobu vyjádření ženského rodu u jmen profesí mezi evropskou a americkou španělštinou.
