Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of "History in entertainment prose at the end of 19th century (Svátek, Stankovský and Čečetka)". The first part is devoded to the problem of Czech historic prose at the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, to the authors´ fundamental tendency of this prose, basic functions, reading reaction of former readers and present responses.
