Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na tématiku VR sickness u současných VR systémů. Práce zkoumá současné chápání, studie a spojitosti tohoto jevu s podobnými úkazy jako kinetóźa, a současné strategie pro jeho mitigaci. V rámci diplomové práce je realizováno měření skupiny subjektů ve VR, které sleduje vliv VR sickness na jasnost instrukcí, výkon, a jiné dopady na člověka. Výsledky měření, jsou porovnány s předchozími studiemi, zdali se shodují nebo nikoliv. Cílem je využít zjištění z předešlých studií a data získaná z měření pro shrnutí dosavadního chápání VR sickness, a sestavení možných řešení tohoto úkazu.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis focuses on the topic of VR sickness in current VR systems. Thesis Investigates current understanding, studies, and connections of this occurrence with similiar phenomenas like motion sickness, and current strategies of its mitigation. A measuring of a group of subjects in VR is conducted within the scope of this diploma thesis, that observes influence of VR sickness on clarity of instructions, performance, and other impacts on human. Results of the measuring are compared to previous studies, if they match or not. The goal is to utilize findings of previous studies and gathered data from measuring to summarize current understanding of VR sickness and to construct possible solutions of this phenomena.
