Financial Analysis of the Selected Investment Project

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce "Finanční analýza zvoleného investičního projektu" je hodnocení efektivnosti investičního projektu ve třech verzích. Teoretická část je věnována deskripci pojmu investice, fázím investičního projektu, zdrojům financování investičních projektů, způsobu výpočtu peněžních toků z investice, postupu hodnocení efektivnosti investic a vybraným faktorům ovlivňujících investiční rozhodování, jako jsou daně, inflace a riziko projektu. V praktické části práce je při zohlednění těchto poznatků a faktorů provedena analýza poptávky, konkurenční nabídky a po projekci Cash Flow provedena finanční analýza realistické verze projektu. Po stanovení parametru citlivostní analýzy jsou stejnými vybranými metodami analyzovány i optimistická a pesimistická verze projektu. V závěru práce je provedena syntéza výsledku všech tří verzí investičního projektu a na jejich základě jsou podniku navrhnuta příslušná opatření.

Abstract:

Subject of the diploma thesis called "Financial Analysis of the Selected Investment Project" is the evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment project in three versions. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the term investment, phases of the investment project, sources of financing investment projects, the ways of the calculation of cash flows from the investment, methods of evaluating the effectiveness of investments and selected factors influencing investment decisions, such as taxes, inflation and the risk of the project. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, taking into account these findings and the factors, an analysis of demand and supply of competitors was made. After the calculation of Cash Flows, the analysis of realistic version of the project was made. After determining the parameters of the sensitivity analysis, the optimistic and pesimistic version of the project was analyzed. These analysis were made by the same method of evaluation as by the realistic version. Finally, the synthesis of the result of all three versions of the investement project is made and on this basis is given some recommendations to a company.
