Abstract:
In my thesis I would like to discuss some of the issues connected with fan fiction-canon interrelations. I intend to focus on slash fan fiction in the Tolkien fan fiction community. By addressing the complex problem of deliminating the Tolkien canon and by discussing the ways in which slash authors rewrite and recontextualize Tolkien's texts, I would like to arrive at more general conclusions regarding …viac
