The Harp and its Use at Educational Concerts for Primary School Students

Abstract:

Práce se snaží nastínit možnosti využití harfy při výchovných koncertech pro žáky II. stupně základních škol. Přes úvod do problematiky výchovných koncertů se dostaneme ke kapitole popisující vznik a vývoj tohoto královského nástroje, vysvětluje jej z hlediska aristokratického pojetí i biblického spojení s králem Davidem, jako protipól ukazuje harfu coby nástroj žebráků a snaží se vyvrátit vžité předsudky o tom, že hra na ni je či byla vždy doménou žen. Protože je harfa nástrojem jak sólovým, komorním i orchestrálním, práce balancuje nad výhodami a nevýhodami prezentace harfy při výchovných koncertech v jednotlivých doménách. Druhá část nabízí tři modely výchovných koncertů včetně načrtnutého scénáře a výběru repertoáru, který se snaží didakticky transformovat. V komentované metodické části je vyučujícím vždy navrženo, jak mohou své žáky pro daný typ koncertu namotivovat nebo jaká východiska mohou nalézat, chtějí-li na koncert navázat v běžné školní výuce hudební výchovy.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to outline the potential use of the harp in educational concerts for students of secondary school. Despite the introduction to educational concerts to get to the chapter describing the emergence and future development of this ?royal instrument?, looks at it in terms of an aristocratic concept as well as the biblical connection to King David. Then, as a counterpoint, it describes the harp as an instrument of beggars and tries to refute deep-rooted prejudices that the playing the harp always was and still is the domain of women. Because the harp is both solo and chamber and orchestral instrument, this thesis illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of harp presentations for educational concerts in particular domains. The second part offers three models of educational concerts including outlined scenarios and selecting repertoire, which tries to transform the didactic. The commented methodological section suggests teachers how to motivate their pupils for the specific type of concert or what possibilities can be found if they want to link normal music education at school to this educational concert.
