The Phenomenon of Brno - the set of texts for Brněnský deník Rovnost

Abstract:

Cílem práce je vytvořit soubor deseti textů pro seriál Brněnského deníku Rovnost Brněnský fenomén. Brno je město s bohatou historií a je spojeno s řadou významných osobností, památek i pověstí, které se k němu váží. Texty jsou zaměřené právě na takové brněnské fenomény, ať už z oblasti kultury či sportu. Teoretická část práce se soustředí především na definici žánru a multižánrový charakter textů. Příkladem mísení znaků různých žánrů je i seriál Brněnský fenomén. Protože jsou jeho texty navíc určeny do regionálních novin, stručně zde nastíním i problematiku regionalismu se zaměřením na média. Empirickou část práce pak tvoří profil cílového média orientovaný na každodenní chod redakce a především žánrové zařazení tvůrčích výstupů práce, které spočívá v porovnávání s různými zpravodajskými i publicistickými žánry. Tvůrčí část práce pak představuje vlastní zpravodajské texty a jejich kritickou reflexi.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a set of ten texts for regular series of Brněnský deník Rovnost named The phenomenon of Brno. Brno is a city with a rich history and it is associated with a number of important personalities, as well as monuments and legends linked to it. The texts are focused on these themes, either related to culture or sport. The theoretical part defines the genre and the text´s multi-genre character. The Phenomenon of Brno is an example of this mixture of different genres´ characters. This capture also briefly explains the theme of the regionalism especially focused on the media. The empirical part forms a profile of the target medium and points out its editorial activities. There is also explained the categorization of the creative output of thesis which consists of comparing the various journalistic genres. The creative part of the thesis then introduces the set of news texts and their critical reflections.
