AID – pomocník či nepřítel?

AID – friend or foe?
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci rešeršního typu se věnuji funkci aktivací indukované deaminázy (AID) za fyziologických a patologických podmínek. Shrnuji současné poznatky o roli AID v imunitní odpovědi a v rozvoji nádorových onemocnění. Dále hodnotím, zda AID celkově hraje roli „pomocníka či spíše „nepřítele“.
Abstract:
In this bachelor thesis I review the function of activation induced deaminase (AID) during physiological and pathological conditions. I summarize recent findings about the role of AID in the immune response and in the development of tumors. I also evaluate whether overall AID plays a role of a friend or a foe.
