Agricultural brownfields in Bruntál region

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je podat přehled o celkovém stavu zemědělství v okrese Bruntál s ohledem na obecné transformační procesy, odehrávající se na území ČR mezi roky 1948 až 2004. Toto období je charakteristické zásadními politickými a ekonomickými proměnami, které vedly ke tvorbě tzv. agrárních brownfieldů. Jde o nevyužívané zemědělské objekty nebo plochy, jež vznikly převážně v průběhu 90. let 20. století, kdy došlo k postupnému útlumu v činnosti JZD a závodů státních statků. Z tohoto důvodu jsou součástí praktické části vybrané informace o konkrétních agrárních brownfieldech lokalizovaných v okrese Bruntál a také případové studie jak úspěšně revitalizovaných, tak i nadále opuštěných původních zemědělských objektů. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na metodologii sběru informací, na samotnou definici termínu brownfields, jejich příčiny vzniku, příklady klasifikace nebo na možnosti budoucího využití agrárních brownfieldů.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to give an overview of total state of agriculture of Bruntál region with respect to general transformational processes taking place in the Czech Republic between the years 1948 and 2004. This period is characterized by essential political and economic changes which led into establishing so called agrarian brownfields. They are unused agricultural objects or areas which were developed mainly during the 90s when there was a gradual activity decrease of JZD and state estates. For this reason, selected information about particular agrarian brownfields localized in Bruntál region are part of the practical part. Furthermore case studies of both successfully revitalized and still abandoned former agricultural objects are part of the practical part. The theoretical part focuses on data gathering methodology, on definition of brownfields itself and their cause of development, on classification examples or on possibility of future use of agrarian brownfields.
