Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje rozvíjejícímu se oboru post-mortem radiodiagnostiky, který v posledních dvou desetiletích zásadně transformoval postupy v soudním lékařství a patologii. Hlavním cílem textu je systematicky zmapovat současné možnosti zobrazovacích metod při vyšetřování zemřelých a posoudit jejich diagnostický přínos v komparaci s konvenční invazivní pitvou. Práce se zaměřuje především na technické a metodické aspekty post-mortem výpočetní tomografie (PMCT), která v současnosti představuje standard v rámci tzv. virtuální pitvy (virtopsy), a dále analyzuje specifika magnetické rezonance (PMMR) a post-mortem angiografie (PMCTA). Teoretická část práce definuje roli radiologického asistenta v tomto multidisciplinárním procesu a rozebírá limity plynoucí z posmrtných změn tkání, které ovlivňují interpretaci obrazové dokumentace. Pozornost je věnována také etickým otázkám a využití těchto metod v pediatrické praxi, kde neinvazivní přístup představuje šetrnější alternativu pro pozůstalé. Rešerše odborné literatury ukazuje, že ačkoliv zobrazovací metody zatím nemohou plně nahradit klasickou sekci, jejich integrace do forenzní praxe zvyšuje objektivitu nálezů, umožňuje trvalou digitální archivaci dat a poskytuje klíčové informace v případech traumatologie, identifikace osob či detekce cizích těles. Závěry práce potvrzují rostoucí význam radiodiagnostiky jako komplementárního nástroje, který zvyšuje kvalitu a přesnost post-mortem vyšetření v moderní medicíně.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the evolving field of post-mortem radiodiagnostics, which has fundamentally transformed procedures in forensic medicine and pathology over the last two decades. The primary objective of the text is to systematically map current imaging modalities used in the examination of the deceased and to evaluate their diagnostic contribution in comparison with conventional invasive autopsy. The work mainly addresses the technical and methodological aspects of post-mortem computed tomography (PMCT), which currently represents the standard within the "virtual autopsy" (virtopsy) framework, while further analyzing the specifics of post-mortem magnetic resonance (PMMR) and post-mortem angiography (PMCTA). The theoretical part defines the role of the radiologic technologist in this multidisciplinary process and discusses the limitations arising from post-mortem tissue changes, which significantly influence the interpretation of imaging documentation. Attention is also given to ethical considerations and the application of these methods in paediatric practice, where a non-invasive approach provides a more sensitive alternative for the bereaved. A review of professional literature indicates that although imaging methods cannot yet fully replace traditional dissection, their integration into forensic practice increases the objectivity of findings, enables permanent digital archiving of data, and provides critical information in cases of traumatology, identification of persons, and foreign body detection. The conclusions of the thesis confirm the growing importance of radiodiagnostics as a complementary tool that enhances the quality and accuracy of post-mortem examinations in modern medicine.
