Hypnosis and society in comparison with other european countries

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Hypnóza a společnost ve srovnání s jinými evropskými státy" je rozčleněna do dvou částí, a to teoretické a výzkumné. Teoretická část se zabývá základními poznatky v oblasti hypnoterapie, historií hypnózy, dále mýty a pověrami a nakonec metodami, jež se využívají ke zkoumání postojů a názorů. Výzkumná část je rozdělena na předvýzkum a výzkum, kdy jsou zjišťovány postoje, které společnost zaujímá. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí Metody sumovaných odhadů, jejímž autorem je R. Likert. Cílem této práce je poukázat na postoje a názory, jež zaujímá široká veřejnost k této léčebné metodě, přičemž jsou zkoumány postoje u třech různých národností - Česka, Rakouska a Polska.

Abstract:

The thesis entitled "Hypnosis and society in comparison with other European states" is divided into two parts, into a theoretical part and a research. The theoretical part concerns basic findings in the field of hypnotherapy, history of hypnosis, furthermore the myths and superstitions and finally the methods which are used to analyze the attitudes and opinions. The investigative part is divided into a pre-research and a research in which there are found out the attitudes and opinions the society holds. The research was carried out by means of Likert scale method. The aim of this thesis is to point out the attitudes and opinions which the general public has towards this therapeutic method. There are found out the attitudes of three different nations - Czech, Austrian and Polish.
