Classification of principal bundles
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci studujeme hladké hlavní G-bandly a jejich klasifikaci pomocí homotopických tříd zobrazení do tzv. klasifikačního prostoru. Nejprve jsou uvedeny základní pojmy ohledně hladkých hlavních bandlů a poté je dokázána klasifikační věta. Nakonec je tato klasifikace konkrétně popsána pro grupy O(k) a U(k).
Abstract:
In this thesis we study smooth principal G-bundles and their classification by homotopy classes of maps to the cassifying space. First some fundamental notions on smooth principal bundles are introduced and then the classification theorem is proved. Finally this classification is specifically described for groups O(k) and U(k).
