The submitted master’s thesis deals with the topic of clostridial infections that represent a major sanitary problem and become increasingly important as an agent of nosocomial infections. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of this infectious agent, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnostics, therapy and prevention of the disease.
