Foreign Direct Investment and Their Influence on Business Environment in the Districts of the Liberec Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Přímé zahraniční investice a jejich vliv na podnikatelské prostředí v okresech Libereckého kraje je zaměřena na analýzu přímých zahraničních investic v Libereckém kraji. První část pojednává o podnikatelském prostředí a jednotlivých aspektech přeshraničního investování. Hlavní část práce spočívá ve zhodnocení stavu přímých zahraničních investic a firem se zahraniční kapitálovou účastí v kraji. Nedílnou součástí je analýza závislosti přímých zahraničních investic a vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. Diplomová práce je zakončena představením společnosti KAMAX s.r.o., která je sledována z hlediska mezinárodního managementu a vztahů v nadnárodních korporacích, čemuž se věnovala teoretická část práce. Z diplomové práce vyplývá, že mezi přímými zahraničními investicemi v jednotlivých okresech Libereckého kraje existují rozdíly jak z hlediska jejich výše, tak z hlediska jejich struktury.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis entitled Foreign Direct Investment and Their Influence on Business Environment in the Districts of the Liberec Region is focused on the analysis of the foreign direct investments in Liberec region. The first part deals with the business environment and the various aspects of cross-border investment. The main part of the thesis consists in the evaluation of the state of the foreign direct investments and companies with foreign capital participation in the region. An integral part of the thesis is the analysis of the dependence between foreign direct investment and selected macroeconomic indicators. The thesis is concluded with the introduction of the company KAMAX s.r.o. that is monitored in terms of international management and relations in multinational corporations that are described in theoretical part. The thesis shows that there are differences among the foreign direct investments in individual districts of Liberec region in terms of both the amount and their structure.
