Arduino Platform Application in Corporate Environment

Abstract:

Cílem práce je návrh konkrétních aplikací technologie Arduino ve firemním prostředí, doporučení jednotlivých komponent, identifikace možných oblastí pro využití, analýza a posouzení efektivity implementace Arduina v konkrétním výrobním procesu. V teoretické části byly postupně představeny technologie použitelné v rámci "chytré firmy" a SMART přístupu k firemním procesům. Vzhledem k tomu, že práce je vázaná na konkrétní firmu a výrobní procesy, bylo rozhodnuto realizovat inovací výroby individuálně, pomocí jednočipových systémů, zvolena byla platforma Arduino. V teoretické části jsou dále popsány komponenty Arduino a možnosti programování řídícího procesu. Následně je srovnána tato technologie s obdobnými platformami a s mikropočítačovým systémem Raspberry. V praktické části je popsána realizace inovace výrobního procesu založeného na měření délky pomocí Arduina, dále je spočítána efektivnost využití a přínosy pro firmu.

Abstract:

The work's goal is to design specific applications of Arduino technology in a company environment, recommendations of individual components, identification of possible areas for use, analysis, and assessment of the effectiveness of Arduino implementation in a specific production process. In the theoretical part, the technologies applicable in the "smart company" framework and the SMART approach to company processes were gradually introduced. Given that the work is tied to a specific company and production processes, it was decided to implement production innovations individually, using single-chip systems, the Arduino platform was chosen. The Arduino components and the possibilities of programming the control process are further described in the theoretical part. Subsequently, this technology is compared with similar platforms and with the Raspberry microcomputer system. In the practical part, the implementation of the innovation of the production process based on length measurement using Arduino is described, the efficiency of use and benefits for the company are also calculated.
