Abstract:
Lektiny jsou proteiny nebo glykoproteiny neimunitního původu, které rozpoznávají a reverzibilně vážou sacharidy. Uplatňují se při rozpoznávacích procesech u řady fyziologických a patologických procesů. U patogenních organismů jsou lektiny zodpovědné za rozpoznávání a adhezi k hostitelské tkáni. Abstract:
Lectins are proteins or glycoproteins of non-immune origin, which recognize and bind reversibly to diverse sugar structures. They are involved in the recognition events in a variety of physiological and pathological processes.
