Cash Flow in Accounting Entity, Case Study

Abstract:

FRANĆÁKOVÁ, Diana: Cash flow in Accounting Entity, Case Study [Master thesis]. College of Banking Prague. Department od finance and economics. doc. Ing. Hana Březinová, CSc. 2017. 77 s. The aim of the master thesis is to analyze its financial health through the analysis of the cash flows of the selected enterprise. The thesis explains the theoretical background to cash flow and financial analysis. It points out the importance, the forms and ways of realizing the financial analysis and its resources and the process of financial analysis. It also deals with the importance of cash flow in financial analysis. The analytical part is devoted to the evaluation of the financial health of the selected company, which is Bauer Gear Motor Slovakia s.r.o. The company that was the subject of the analysis appears to be an average firm that has some problems in its financial and economic situation. Despite the fact that the company was managing the loss in the period under review, it is on the right track to improve its results. The situation in which the undertaking is located is to a certain extent caused by the economic crisis, which is of a global nature.

Cieľom diplomovej práce je prostredníctvom analýzy peňažných tokov vybraného podniku zhodnotiť jeho finančné zdravie. Práca vysvetľuje teoretické východiská k problematike peňažných tokov a finančnej analýzy. Poukazuje na význam, formy a spôsoby realizácie finančnej analýzy a jej zdroje a postup realizácie finančnej analýzy. Zaoberá sa tiež významom cash flow vo finančnej analýze. Analytická časť práce je venovaná zhodnoteniu finančného zdravia vybranej spoločnosti, ktorou je Bauer Gear Motor Slovakia s.r.o. Spoločnosť, ktorá bola predmetom analýzy sa javí ako priemerný podnik, ktorý vykazuje vo svojej finančno – ekonomickej situácii určité problémy. Napriek tomu, že spoločnosť za sledované obdobia hospodárila so stratou, je na dobrej ceste k zlepšeniu svojich výsledkov. Situácia, v ktorej sa podnik nachádza je v istej miere zapríčinená hospodárskou krízou, ktorá má globálny charakter.
