Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se budu zabývat veřejnou správou ve Spojených arabských emirátech (SAE). Je důležité, aby lidé, kteří chtějí žít ve Spojených arabských emirátech, pochopili, jak veřejná správa podporuje své občany i cizince. V teoretické části se zaměřím na všeobecné principy veřejné správy, které budou základem pro tuto práci. K dalšímu prozkoumání similarit SAE s jinými vyspělými zeměmi jsou dále popsáni hlavní veřejní političtí činitelé a stručný nástin: historický, geografický a demografický. V praktické části se budu věnovat politickému systému SAE, organizaci veřejné správy SAE, veřejné správě v emirátu Abu Dhabi, rodinné a cizinecké politice v Abu Dhabi. Porovnám, která pozitiva a negativa poskytuje místní veřejná správa pro své občany a cizince žijící a pracující v této zemi. V závěru mé práce zhodnotím z pohledu rezidenta žíjícího v této zemi, jak veřejná správa pozitivně dokázala vyřešit otázku menšinových skupin. Práce je pojata jako analýza veřejné správy SAE, její pozitiva a její negativa. Tuto práci jsem si vybrala, neboť v této zemi žiji a pracuji již 3 roky a touto cestou bych chtěla doporučit českým občanům návštěvu této zajímavé a dynamicky se rozvíjející země.

Abstract:

My Bachelor thesis deals with public administration in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is important that people wanting to reside in the United Arab Emirates to understand how the country's public administration supports its citizens and foreigners. In the theoretical part I will describe the general principles of public administration that will set the foundation of the research. In order to further explore the similarities the UAE has with other westernized countries, an examination of the country's political leaders, history, geography and demography should be performed. To develop an informed view of the UAE the practical part includes several areas that require additional research. Those areas include studying the political system in the UAE, organization of public administration, public administration of Abu Dhabi emirate, and finally family and foreign policy in Abu Dhabi. I will compare positives and negatives that local public administration provides for its citizens and for foreigners living and working in this country. In the conclusion I will use personal experience of a working citizen in this country and describing how the problem of minority groups is being resolved. The purpose of the present study was to analyze the positives and negatives of public administration in the UAE. This thesis topic was chosen because I have lived and worked in the UAE for the past three years. I recommend Czech citizens to visit the UAE as I find this country very interesting and fast developing.
