Translation and Analysis of Harry Potter
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se skládá z praktické a teoretické části. Praktická část obsahuje vlastní překlad tří kapitol z rozdílných knih o Harrym Potterovi od J.K. Rowlingové. Teoretická část pojednává o metafoře boje dobra se zlem a dále se zabývá problémem interpretace a idiomů. Poslední kapitola teoretické části se skládá z porovnání překladu vlastních jmen a neologismů v různých evropských jazycích.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis consists of a practical and a theoretical part. The practical part contains the own translation of three chapters from different Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling. The theoretical part deals with the metaphor of fight between Good and Evil and secondly, it is concerned with the problem of interpretation and idioms.
