Women's Awareness of Neonatal Icterus after Delivery

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma "Informovanost žen po porodu o novorozeneckém ikteru" je složena z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmů perinatologie a neonatologie, dále je zaměřena na klasifikaci novorozence dle délky gestace. Rovněž jsou zde objasněny příčiny novorozenecké hyperbilirubinemie, její rozdělení na nekonjugovanou a konjugovanou, klinické projevy a diagnostika, která se v souvislosti s touto problematikou využívá. V závěru první části jsou popsány jednotlivé možnosti léčby novorozeneckého ikteru. Praktická část byla provedena pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Cílovou skupinu tvořily ženy po porodu. Jednotlivé otázky jsou zpracovány do tabulek a grafů, které jsou doplněny o slovní komentář.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is titled "Women's Awareness of Neonatal Icterus after Delivery" and is divided into two parts- a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines perinatology and neonatology terms. It is also focused on the categorization of newborns according to their gestational age. It clarifies the causes of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, metabolism of bilirubin (its division into conjugated and uncon-jugated), clinical symptoms and diagnosis. The various possibilities of the treatment are described at the end of the first part of the thesis. The practical part was conducted via questionnaire survey. The target group consisted of women after childbirth. The results are organized into tables and bar charts accompanied by verbal comments.
