Irony and Dialectics in Juan Marsé.

Abstract:

The main aim of my work was to approximate a contemporary spanish author Juan Marsé to a czech reader, his work and art of writing, his view of the world, life inspirations and the way he writes. I've mostly focused on the irony, paradox, and sarcasm as are used in all the books, working with the best known works of Marse and also the use of these with dialectical intentions. I searched author´s sources of inspiration, the relationship between his memory and his stories and the influences of the real life and, mostly, cinema and the city of Barcelona. I was also interested in the language and language tools he uses so he could make us see and feel chat he wants us to see and feel like ? phraseology, bilingualisms and expression of multiple meanings, which are sometimes really hard to understand especially when you are from different generation and country.

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce je přiblížit českému čtenáři součastného španělského autora Juana Marsého, jeho dílo, pohled na svět, životní inspirace a způsob, jakým píše. Zaměřila jsme se hlavně na ironii, paradoxy a sarkasmy, jak je autor používá v téměr všech svých knihách a to hlavně s dialektickým cílem. Pracovala jsem hlavněs jeho nejznámějšími dílami. Hledala a skoumala jsem zdroje jeho inspirace, vztah mezi autorovými spomínkami a příběhy v jeho knihách, stejně jako vliv jeho skutečného života a hlavně vlivy kina a města Bracelony. Zajímala jsem se taky na jazyk a jazykové prostředky jaké autor při psaní používá, aby nás donutil vidět a cítit se jak chce on ? frazeologie, bilingvismy a vícevýznamové vyjádření, které jsou člověku mladší generace a dokonce z jiné krajiny jen těžce pochopitelné.
