Analysis of morphometric parameters of tracheids Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) in Bílý Kříž research area

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá analýzou morfometrických parametrů tracheid dřeva smrku ztepilého z výzkumné plochy Bílý Kříž. Z různých výšek stromu byly odebrány vzorky a na nich proběhlo měření. Na makroskopické úrovni byla zjišťována šířka letokruhu a podíl letního dřeva v letokruhu, který se průměrně pohyboval od 25–30 %. Následovala mikroskopická analýza rozměrů tracheid dřeva. Na příčném řezu byly zjišťovány radiální rozměr a tloušťka buněčných stěn tracheid dřeva, které měly hodnoty od 2 do 12 µm. Ze zjištěných hodnot tloušťky buněčných stěn se vypočetla hustota dřeva, ta průměrně vycházela v rozmezí 400–700 kg·m-3. Následně se na tangenciálním řezu měřily délky jarních a letních tracheid (4–4,5 mm). Poté se zjišťovala variabilita struktury dřeva po poloměru a po výšce. A následně se zjištěné údaje porovnávaly s klimatickými daty.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is about analysis of morphometric parameters of Norway spruce tracheid wood from research area Bílý Kříž. Samples were taken from different tree heights and subsequently measured. At the macroscopic level were determined the ring width and the proportion of late wood in the ring, values were in range 25–30 %. The radial dimension and thickness of the wood tracheid walls of the wood were determined, which had values from 2 to 12 µm. The density of wood was calculated from the values of cellular thicknesses, which averaged 400–700 kg·m-3. Early and late tracheids (4–4,5 mm) were measured on a tangential section. The variability of the wood structure over the trunk radius and the trunk height was determined. Subsequently, the data were compared with climatic data.
