Bakalářská diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu funkce motivu znásilnění v povídkách Propast L. Andrejeva a Hrůza M. Arcybaševa. Nastiňuje historický kontext přelomu 19. a 20. století, také změny v literatuře a nové literární směry. Práce také popisuje životy autorů, jejich literární činnost a následky jejich tvorby. V práci je použita historická, biografická, textově-analytická a srovnávací metoda. Pozornost je především věnována srovnání motivů znásilnění a pozorování této funkce již ve zmiňovaných povídkách.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the function of the rape motif in the short stories The Abyss by L. Andreev and The Dread by M. Arcybasev. It outlines the historical context of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as changes in literature and new literary trends. The work also describes the author's lives, their literary works and the consequences of their works. The thesis uses historical, biographical, textual-analytical and comparative methods. Attention in mainly paid to the comparison of the motifs in the two short stories, the analysis of the function of the rape motif itself and the comparison of this function in the already mentioned stories.
