Abstract:

Zdeněk Lokaj, Heliane Wiesauer-Reiterer: Prostory a tonalita. Heliane Wiesauer-Reiterer (* 1948) je rakouská multimediální umělkyně, zaměřená na malířskou a sochařskou tvorbu i uměleckou fotografii. V letech 1968 – 1973 studovala ve Vídni na Akademii výtvarných umění (Akademie der bildenden Künste) v mistrovské třídě malby u profesora Gustava Hessinga, kde získala akademický titul magistra umění (Mag. art.). Patří k rakouským umělcům s počátkem tvorby v sedmdesátých a osmdesátých letech minulého století, ale její invenční tvorba je stále aktuální a vyhledávaná i v současné době. Předložená práce je sestavena jako malá monografie. Opírá se mimo bibliografické zdroje o osobní kontakty s umělkyní a jejím dílem. Seznamuje čtenáře s vývojem uměleckého projevu svobodné umělkyně, práce je členěna do desetiletých úseků, poskytuje pohled a výklad její více vrstevnaté, multimediální tvorby. Práci doplňují četné dokumentární snímky uměleckých děl z archivu umělkyně.

Abstract:

Zdeněk Lokaj, Heliane Wiesauer-Reiterer: Spaces and Tonality. Heliane Wiesauer-Reiterer (* 1948) is an Austrian multimedia female artist focusing on painting and sculpture, as well as on artistic photography. From 1968 to 1973 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (Akademie der bildenden Künste) in Vienna, where she completed a master class in painting taught by Professor Gustav Hessing while obtaining her Master’s degree (Mag. art.). Although she numbers among the Austrian artists who started their work in the 1970s and 1980s, her inventive creations are still perceived as modern and are very much in demand today. The present work was written as a small monograph. It is based not only on bibliographic sources, but also on personal contacts with the artist herself and her work. This monograph informs the reader about Wiesauer-Reiterer’s distinctive artistic development and offers an overview and explanation of her multi-layer, multimedia production, with each chapter covering a ten-year period in her creative activity. A number of documentary photographs of works of art from the artist’s archive complete the present monograph.
