Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám lidskou existencí ve vztahu s textilem. Zaměřuji se v ní na filozofické pojetí těla skrze určitá historická období a na to, jakou změnou si prošlo lidské chápání těla a tělesnosti v průběhu 20. století. Snažím se o hledání spojitostí mezi textilem a člověkem v osobní rovině ale i v širším kontextu postmoderního světa. Výstupem textové části je prostorová práce v podobě figurální sochy v životní velikosti, jež vznikla za použití textilu a pryskyřice.

Abstract:

In this bachelor's thesis, I deal with human existence in relation to textiles. I focus on the philosophical concept of the body during a certain historical periods and how the human understanding of the body and physicality has changed during the 20th century. I am looking for the connections between textiles and people on a personal level, but also in the wider context of the postmodern world. The output of the text part is a spatial work in the form of a life-size figurative sculpture, which was created using textiles and resin.
