Analysis of capital concentration in banking and its forms in CR

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo zmapovat vývoj koncentrace bankovního kapitálu a vymezit jeho trendy v ČR. Práce se věnuje bankovnímu trhu a jeho specifiky. Vysvětleny jsou všechny důležité okolnosti a podmínky vstupu bank na finanční trh. Detailně je rozebrána teorie koncentrace a popsány metody její měření. Součástí práce jsou analýzy koncentrace bankovního kapitálu v zahraničí a ČR. Pozornost je především zaměřena na trh aktiv, depozit a úvěrů. K tomu jsou doloženy statistické tabulky použitých vstupů a výstupů v přílohách.

Abstract:

The objectives of the work was to survey the development of concentration of bank capital and to specify its trends in the Czech Republic. The work is devoted to bank market and its specific features. Important factors and qualification for entry of banks to financial market are explained. The theory of concentration is analysed in detail and the methods for its measurement are described. Further, the analysis of concentration of financial capital abroad and in the Czech Republic was carried out. The attention is payed especially to market of assets, deposits and loans. Statistical surveys with used input and output data are attached in apendix.
