This Master's thesis deals with the efforts of Jews to get from Germany to Palestine after World War II. They believed that they would be much better off in Palestine and finally end their persecution. After World War II, the situation was especially difficult for Jews. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o snaze Židů, dostat se po druhé světové válce z Německa do Palestiny. Věřili totiž, že se v Palestině budou mít mnohem lépe a skončí tím jejich pronásledování. Po druhé světové válce byla situace pro Židy obzvlášť těžká. V mnoha zemích se konali pogromy na Židy.
