Vodní rostlina Wolffia australiana představuje díky své drobné velikosti, extrémně rychlému vegetativnímu rozmnožování, relativně snadné kultivaci a osekvenovanému genomu skvělý model pro studium rostlinných signálních drah. The aquatic plant Wolffia australiana, with its small size, extremely rapid vegetative reproduction, relatively easy cultivation, and sequenced genome emerges as a promising model for studying plant signalling pathways.
