Obstacles to work

Abstract:

Rigorózní práce cílí na komplexní rozbor jednotlivých druhů překážek v práci, které mohou vyvstat jak na straně zaměstnance, tak na straně zaměstnavatele. V průběhu psaní mé rigorózní práce se po celém světě rozšířila pandemie koronaviru (COVID-19), tato práce si dává za cíl prozkoumat rovněž dopady šíření této pandemie na pracovní právo, popsat stávající stav české právní úpravy a poskytnout návod zaměstnancům i zaměstnavatelům, jak se v této nelehké době s pandemií právně vypořádat. Práce je rozdělena do sedmi základních kapitol, kterým předchází úvodní shrnutí. Na konci kapitol nalezneme závěr, který shrnuje, o čem práce pojednává. Práce obsahuje rovněž částečnou analýzu právní úpravy překážek v práci, zejména na straně zaměstnance, z pohledu slovenské právní úpravy.

Abstract:

The focus of this rigorosum thesis aims on the comprehensive analysis of the various types of obstacles at the work that may arise both on the side of the employee and the employer. At the time of the writing of this rigorosum thesis, the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has already spread around the world. Main focus of this thesis is to examine the effects of this pandemic disease on the field of labour law, to describe current situation of the Czech legislation and to provide a guidence for both employers and employees how to deal with the pandemic in this difficult time. The rigorosum thesis is divided into seven chapters preceded by an introductory summary. At the end of each chapter we can find a conclusion which summarizes the topic and its connection to the thesis. The thesis also contains a partial analysis of the legal regulation of the obstacles at the work, with the focus on the part of the employer, from the Slovak legislation's point of view.
