Searching for the own Identity on example of the novel "Pawels Briefe" from Monika Maron

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the search of own identity of German writer Monika Maron in her work "Pawels Briefe". The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part is focused on anti-state security, literature of the German Democratic Republic, searching for her own identity and presenting the writer herself. Then there is the practical part of the thesis which includes analysis of "Pawels Briefe" from three points of view - text authenticity, female identity and the position of women in our society. Target of Maron's work is to show biographical elements and to perform an analysis from the perspective of the self-searching process.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu hledání vlastního já v díle německé spisovatelky Moniky Maron v díle "Pawels Briefe". Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část přibližuje pojmy jako protistátní bezpečnost, literatura Německé demokratické republiky, hledání vlastního já a představuje i spisovatelku samotnou. Následuje praktická část této práce, která se soustředí na analýzu díla "Pawels Briefe" ze třech úhlů pohledu, a to autenticita textu, ženská identita a postavení ženy ve společnosti. Cílem práce je poukázat na biografické prvky v díle a provést analýzu díla z pohledu hledání vlastního já.
