Summary of views on the relationship between Plato's and Aristotle's thought
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje názorům na vtah Platónova a Aristotelova myšlení, a to konkrétně diskusi mezi developmentarismem a harmonicismem. Dále se zaměřuje na konkrétnější pojetí u jednotlivých autorů (Werner Jaeger, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Ingemar Düring), a také hodnotí Jaegerovu interpretaci dialogu Eudémos.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the views on relationship between Plato's and Aristotle's thought, namely the debate between developmentarism and harmonicism. It then focuses on specific concepts of the individual authors (Werner Jaeger, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Ingemar Düring), and assesses Jaeger's interpretation of dialogue Eudemus.
