Abstract:
This dissertation sums up the knowledge of the benefits of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in a study of MR-negative epilepsy. The introduction of this thesis brings a brief overview of the acquisition of DWI images and is mainly dedicated to the state-of-the-art methods of artefact correction in DWI data and the mathematical background of selected models used for modelling diffusion. Tato disertační práce shrnuje poznatky o výhodách difúzně váženého zobrazování (DWI) ve studiu MR-negativní epilepsie.
