Interdisciplinary approach to aphasia therapy

Abstract:

Afázie je složitá systémová porucha řeči, která postihuje různé úrovně a zároveň celou duševní činnost člověka. Afázie je narušení komunikační schopnosti, jehož příčinou je ložiskové poškození mozku. Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo analyzovat problematiku afázie a poskytování komplexní rehabilitační péče. Cílem výzkumu byla analýza týmového přístupu odborníků, zabývajících se rehabilitační péčí u osob stižených afázií. Dílčími cíli jsem sledovala, jaký vliv má na odstranění či zmírnění narušené komunikační schopnosti osoby s afázií včasná diagnostika, dlouhodobá komplexní péče spojená s motivací pacienta. Spolupracovala jsem se čtyřmi pacienty s různým typem afázie. V teoretické části, která je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol se zabývám vymezením pojmu afázie, klasifikací, diagnostikou, terapií a rehabilitační péčí o osoby s afázií.

Abstract:

Aphasia is a complex systemic speech disorder which affects various degrees or the whole mental activity of a person. Aphasia is a distortion of communication skills which is caused by a focal brain damage. The goal of my thesis was to analyze the problems of aphasia and the provision of a complex rehabilition care. The research aimed at the team approach analysis of professionals dealig with the rehabilition care of people suffering with aphasia. In partial goals I monitored what is the influence of the removal or limitation of the impaired communicative abilitz. Persons with aphasia, timelz diagnostics long-term complex care connected with a patients motivation. I worked with four patients who were affected by varied types of aphasia. In the papers theoretical part, which is divided into four sections, I will determine the term, aphasia, its classification, diagnosis, available therapy and rehabilitation programmes for people with aphasia.
