The analysis of consumtion of rose wines

Abstract:

ROTTOVÁ, Jana. Analýza spotřeby růžových vín. [Bakalářská práce] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2014. Celkový počet stran: 71. Bakalářská práce Analýza spotřeby růžových vín pojednává o problematice spotřeby a oblíbenosti růžových vín u konzumentů v současné době. Autorka na základě sborníků, odborné a doporučené literatury popisuje veškeré aspekty týkající se růžových vín. Práce se nejprve věnuje vývoji růžových vín ve světě a v České republice a postupně popisuje aktuální situaci rosé vín. Autorka zjišťuje, jaká je v současné době spotřeba a popularita růžových vín a snaží se přiblížit pozitivní hlediska těchto vín a potvrdit předpoklad, že spotřeba růžových vín se v České republice neustále zvyšuje. V souvislosti s tím je v práci uveden průzkum českých vinařství produkujících růžová vína. Pro srovnání s českou nabídkou růžových vín práce popisuje i rosé vína ve světě, konkrétně v oblasti Provence. Práce zároveň obsahuje výsledky z dotazování respondentů prostřednictvím dotazníku. Na základě dotazníku jsou v práci vytvořeny grafy, které potvrzují hypotézu, že spotřeba rosé vín se v České republice pomalu, ale jistě zvyšuje. K tomuto výsledku přispívají i různé tuzemské a mezinárodní soutěže a akce zaměřené na růžová vína, které jsou v práci též uvedené. Podle zjištění z průzkumu autorka doporučuje zvýšit dostupnost růžových vín pro spotřebitelskou veřejnost. Práce je mimo jiné doplněna výkladem o vinifikaci růžových vín, tedy celkovou výrobou počínaje sklizní hroznů po správné skladování. Autorka také shrnuje obecnou charakteristiku růžových vín, tj. od jejich barevných variant, typů a od vhodné volby odrůd pro výrobu růžových vín. Pro úplnost se práce zabývá i snoubením růžových vín s pokrmy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis Analysis of the Rosé Wines Consumption deals with the questions of the consumption and popularity of rosé wines among consumers at the present time. On the basis of the professional and recommended literature, the author describes all the aspects concerning the production of rosé wines. The thesis first gives attention to the development of rosé wines in the world and in the Czech Republic and systematically discloses the actual situation in the field of rosé wines. The author ascertains what consumption as well as popularity of rosé wines exist at present and tries to display positive aspects of these wines and to confirm the supposition that the consumption of rosé wines in the Czech Republic constantly increases. In this context, the thesis indicates a survey of Czech wine growers producing rosé wines. The Czech offer of rosé wines is compared with the situation of rosé wines in the world, specifically in the region of Provence. The thesis contains also the results of the inquiry among respondents by means of a questionnaire. The graphs drawn up on the basis of this questionnaire confirm the hypothesis that the consumption of rosé wines slowly but surely increases in the Czech Republic. Different national and international competitions and events focused on rosé wines mentioned in the thesis contribute to this result as well. According to the findings in the inquiry, the author recommends to improve the accessibility of rosé wines for the consumer public. The thesis is among others completed with the interpretation of vinification about rosé wines, i.e. the entire production starting with the harvest of grapes up to the correct storage. The author also summarizes general characteristics of rosé wines, such as their colour variants, types, and suitable selection of varieties for the production of rosé. For completeness‘ sake, the part of the thesis concerns in the match of rosé wines with dishes.
