Cieľom bakalárskej práce bolo analyzovať právne postavenie a pôsobenie Najvyššieho kontrolného úradu Slovenskej republiky, podrobnejšie sa venovať postupu pri výkone kontroly a poukázať na problémy, ktoré vznikajú pri uplatňovaní nápravy zistených nedostatkov.
