Possibilities of using multifunctional sports arena in Pardubice

Abstract:

Cílem práce je analyzovat finanční hospodaření multifunkční sportovní arény v Pardubicích (MFA) s důrazem na variabilitu využití multifunkční sportovní arény. V teoretické části práce je vycházeno z poznatků, které se k dané problematice vztahují, především z charakteristiky poptávky po sportu a jejích determinant. Dále je věnována pozornost historii, rozvoji sportovní infrastruktury s důrazem na multifunkční arény. Zmíněna je i struktura příjmů a typy investorů sportovní infrastruktury. V praktické části je charakterizován provozovatel multifunkční arény Pardubice MRFP, a.s. a jeho dílčí hospodářské výsledky za sledované období 2006-2010. Další kapitola je věnována zhodnocení využitelnost arény. Poté jsou detailně rozebrány jednotlivé kulturní akce ve vlastní režii provozovatele MFA. V závěru je nabídnuto srovnání mezi halami a to napříč celou ČR. Následuje pak celkové shrnutí zjištěných poznatků a návrhy na zlepšení situace a vývoj do budoucnosti při využívání MFA v Pardubicích.

Abstract:

The main goal of thesis is to analyze the financial performance of multifunctional sports arena in Pardubice (MFA) with emphasis on variability using a multifunctional sports arena. The theoretical part is drawing on the findings that relate to the issue, mainly from the demand characteristics of sport and its determinants. Further attention is paid to the history, development of sports infrastructure with emphasis on multifunctional arena. Mentioned is the structure of income and types of investors sporting infrastructure. The practical part is characterized by multi-service arena Pardubice MRFP, Inc. and its partial results for the period 2006-2010. Another chapter is devoted to evaluate the usability arena. Are then discussed in detail the various cultural events in own-account operators MFA. In conclusion, it offered a comparison between the halls and across the whole country. The following is the summary of the identified findings and suggestions for improvements and future developments in the use of MFA in Pardubice.
