Tato práce pojednává o problematice těhotenství a mateřství žen na invalidním vozíku z pohledu porodní asistentky. V teoretické části je popsán život jedinců se zdravotním postižením, těhotenství a zvlášt-nosti prenatální péče u žen na invalidním vozíku, dále role porodní asistentky v péči o tě-lesně postiženou ženu a v neposlední řadě mateřství s postižením. This work deals with the issue of pregnancy and motherhood of women in wheelchairs from the perspective of a midwife. The theoretical part describes the lives of individuals with disabilities, pregnancy and the peculiarities of prenatal care for women in wheelchairs, the role of midwives in caring for a disabled woman and, last but not least, motherhood with disabilities.
