Economic and social impacts of respiratory diseases on the company

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zkoumat vliv respiračních onemocnění, zejména COVID-19, na podniky. Dále jsem hodnotila, jak nemoc ovlivnila začátek, průběh a konec pandemie na základě odpovědí z dotazníku. Dalším cílem bylo sestavit a vyhodnotit dotazník, který zahrnoval opatření, jež se v průběhu nemoci ukázala jako účinná, a formulovat doporučení pro podniky. V teoretické části práce popíšu ekonomické a související teorie týkající se pandemie. V praktické části budu analyzovat odpovědi z dotazníku a prezentovat je pomocí grafů a tabulek. V poslední části práce zformuluji doporučení pro řešení pandemie na základě mé analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of respiratory diseases, particularly COVID- 19, on businesses. Furthermore, I assessed how the disease affected the beginning, course and end of the pandemic based on the responses from the questionnaire. Another objective was to construct and evaluate a questionnaire that included measures that proved effective during the course of the disease and to formulate recommendations for businesses. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I will describe the economic and related theories concerning the pandemic. In the practical part, I will analyse the responses from the questionnaire and present them using graphs and tables. In the last part of the thesis I will formulate recommendations for dealing with the pandemic based on my analysis.
