The Protection of Consumers in tourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ochranou spotřebitele v cestovním ruchu v České republice. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy znalostí českých spotřebitelů o právech v cestovním ruchu upozornit na hlavní nedostatky v informovanosti a navrhnout zlepšení v této oblasti. V teoretické části jsou rozebrány změny, které přináší nový občanský zákoník. Pro splnění cíle bylo v praktické části bakalářské práce využito dotazníkového šetření mezi spotřebiteli, z jehož výsledku je vyvozen závěr a jsou navrhnuta doporučení pro zlepšení komunikace a informovanosti spotřebitelů.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's Thesis analyses the protection of consumers in tourism in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to point out the main drawbacks in awareness of consumers about their rights in tourist industry based on the analysis of Czech consumers knowledge, and to suggest improvements in this area. The thesis is divided into two sections -- a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the changes brought by the new Civil Code. To meet the aim was to use a questionnaire survey among consumers in a practical part. A conclusion is drawn from the results of the analysis and recommendations for improving communication and consumer awareness are proposed.
