Media coverage of important cases associated with the release of toxic substances into the environment
Abstract:
Prvotním cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit edukační materiál zaměřený na toxikologickou problematiku třech vybraných látek: methanol, nitrózní plyny a azbest. Bakalářská práce uvádí základní toxikologické charakteristiky těchto látek, jejich vliv na zdraví člověka a diskutuje rozdíly v kvalitě informací mezi hromadnými sdělovacími prostředky a odbornou literaturou.
Abstract:
The primary objective of this thesis is to create an educational progran focused on the field of toxikology three selected compounds: methanol, nitrous gases and asbestos. Bachelor thesis presents the basic toxicological characteristics of these substances, their effects on human health and discusses the differences in the quality of information between the mass media and professional literature.
