Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza současného motivačního systému obchodních zástupců a jejich asistentů ve vybraném podniku a návrh možných zlepšení zejména v oblasti odměňování obchodních zástupců a jejich asistentů. Aby byl tento cíl naplněn, jsou nejprve v teoretické části práce vymezeny základní pojmy a vztahy mezi nimi, rovněž jednotlivé oblasti motivace jako řízení pracovního výkonu, hodnocení pracovníka a jeho výkonu, jeho odměňování a vzdělávání, to vše se zaměřením na obchodní zástupce. V praktické části je k získání potřebných dat a informací využito osobních rozhovorů s odpovědnou osobou, empirického výzkumu v podobě dotazníkového šetření provedeného mezi obchodními zástupci a jejich asistenty. Pro naplnění cíle jsou formulovány a zodpovězeny obecné výzkumné otázky a specifické výzkumné otázky. Na základě zpracovaných dat jsou učiněny návrhy na změnu motivačního systému obchodních zástupců a asistentů ve třech oblastech, a to úprava systému odměňování obchodních zástupců a jejich asistentů, úprava struktury zaměstnaneckých benefitů obchodních zástupců a jejich asistentů a úpravy v oblasti nepeněžní motivace obchodních zástupců a jejich asistentů. U daných návrhů je uvedeno jejich nákladové vyčíslení. Ze získaných dat lze však obecně tvrdit, že obchodní zástupci a asistenti ve vybraném podniku projevují pozitivní postoj k oblastem jako např. přátelské vztahy na pracovišti, vhodné pracovní podmínky, dostupné informace, zpětná vazba, pocit jistoty práce, hodnocení pracovníků, odměňování pracovníků včetně zaměstnaneckých benefitů. Částečně problematickými oblastmi jsou oblasti profesního rozvoje, vzdělávání a kariérního růstu, možnost realizace vlastních nápadů, náročnost splnění úkolů.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the current motivation system of sales representatives and their assistants in a selected company and to propose improvements especially in the field of remuneration of sales representatives and their assistants. In order to achieve this goal, the basic terms and relations between them are defined in the theoretical part, as well as the individual areas of motivation such as job performance management, employee appraisal and their performance, remuneration and education, all of which focused on sales representatives. In the practical part, personal interviews with the responsible person were used to obtain the necessary data and information, empirical research is in the form of questionnaire survey carried out among sales representatives and their assistants. In order to fulfil the goal, general research questions and specific research questions were formulated and answered. On the basis of the processed data, the proposals are made in order to change the motivation system of sales representatives and assistants in three areas. These areas include adjustment of the remuneration system of sales representatives and their assistants, the adjustment of employee benefits structure of sales representatives and their assistants and adjustments in the non-monetary motivation of sales representatives and their assistants. The proposals are cost-quantified. Based on the data obtained, it can be generally argued that sales representatives and assistants in the selected company have a positive attitude towards such areas as friendly workplace relationships, appropriate working conditions, available information, feedback, employee appraisal and employee remuneration including employee benefits. Partially problematic areas are areas of vocational development, education and career growth, the possibility of realizing own ideas and difficulty of the tasks accomplishment.
