Spatial Analysis of the Impact of the Ústí Community Foundation Activities

Abstract:

Tato práce představuje Ústeckou komunitní nadaci a její činnost s důrazem na rozmístění jejích aktivit v zájmovém území. Cílem práce je objasnit geografické aspekty působení zvolené nadace. Za tímto účelem je zkoumáno prostorové rozmístění žadatelů o finanční podporu přes její grantový program a faktory, které by jej mohly ovlivňovat. Toto prostorové rozložení je znázorněno pomocí tematických mapových výstupů. Zároveň je provedena doplňující analýza jiných organizací poskytujících podpůrné zdroje pro komunitní projekty, která může napomoci k pochopení prostorové diverzity žádajících subjektů v rámci okresů působení Ústecké komunitní nadace.

Abstract:

This thesis presents the Ústí Community Foundation and its activities with an emphasis on the distribution of these activities in the area of interest of the foundation. This thesis aims to clarify the geographical aspects of the selected foundation's activities. For this purpose, the spatial diversity of applicants for financial support through the foundation's grant program and the factors influencing its territorial impact are examined. These spatial relationships are illustrated by thematic maps. The additional analysis demonstrates other potential sources of financial support for community projects, which may help to understand the spatial distribution of the Ústí Community Foundation activities in the districts of interest.
