Analysis of wildlife-vehicle collisions on the roads in the Pardubice Region and proposals for their elimination

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu bezpečnosti pozemních komunikací v Pardubickém kraji z hlediska střetů s lesní zvěří. V analytické části autor představí nejdůležitější pozemní komunikace v kraji a poukáže na vybrané rizikové místo, kde hrozí zvýšená pravděpodobnost střetů se zvěří. Autor také zanalyzuje vývoj těchto střetů v Pardubickém kraji za posledních 6 let a porovná jej s celorepublikovou statistikou. V práci budou následně představeny bezpečnostní prvky, které jsou instalovány za účelem předcházení střetům se zvěří, a bude navrženo jejich umístění na vytipované rizikové místo.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of road safety in the Pardubice region in terms of clashes with wildlife. In the analytical part, the author introduces the most important roads in the region and points out risky place where there is an increased probability of collisions with animals. The author also analyses the development of these conflicts in the Pardubice region over the last 6 years and compares it with national statistics. The work then introduces the security features that are installed to prevent collisions with animals. These security features will be installed to the dangerous part of road.
