Cultural scene as the Supporting Factor of Ústí nad Labem Regional Development

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zhodnocení kulturní scény jako jednoho z měkkých faktorů rozvoje území města Ústí nad Labem. První část práce se teoreticky zabývá problematikou lokalizačních teorií, lokalizačních faktorů a pojmem kultura. V druhé části je představeno město Ústí nad Labem, jeho charakteristika. Tato část dále představuje celkovou socioekonomickou charakteristiku města, detailní popis jednotlivých institucí, hlavních představitelů kulturního života. Podrobně je popsána kulturní scéna Ústí nad Labem a její financování městem. Ve třetí části pak uvádím možnosti profilace a názor Ústečanů na kulturní scénu ve městě.

Abstract:

The aim is to evaluate the cultural environment as one of the soft factors of Ústí nad Labem region development. The first part of this thesis is dealing with theoretical background of the industrial location and conception culture. In the second part , there is an introduction of city Ústí nad Labem, its parameters further it concerns the overall socioeconomic characteristics of the city and presents a detailed description of each individual institution together with the representatives of the cultural life. The third part is describing structure and width of the cultural scene offered by city Ústí nad Labem in comparison with opinion of people living in the city.
